Biography

  Greetings! I am Taja "Ty" Lewis, a proud United States Army veteran, financial literacy advocate, and entrepreneur based in Little Rock, Arkansas. 

My journey from humble beginnings to becoming a multifaceted professional exemplifies determination and a passion for empowering others.

As one of five siblings, I recognized early on the transformative power of education. I earned four associate degrees from the University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College, followed by a bachelor's degree in management from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

My 15-year tenure in the United States Army, where I serve as a Sergeant First Class, has instilled in me discipline and leadership. As a first-generation military member, I am paving the way for future generations in my family and community.

In 2022, I founded Innerlux Incorporated, a financial services firm dedicated to enhancing community financial literacy.

 As a Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI) through the National Financial Educators Council (NFEC) financialeducatorscouncil.org, I provide clients with the knowledge to make informed financial decisions.

My professional credentials include:

• Certified Credit Repair Specialist (CCRS): Guiding clients to improve their credit health.
• Certified Bookkeeper: Ensuring accurate financial records for individuals and businesses.
• Licensed Life Insurance Agent: Helping families secure their financial futures.
• Tax Professional and Software Provider: Offering comprehensive tax services and solutions.
• Notary Public and Loan Signing Agent: Facilitating essential document signings with precision.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am a devoted mother to two wonderful children, Marley and Takoda, and a fur parent to our loyal companion, Lucky. We reside in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

Recently, I was honored to be recognized as the Arkansas Ambassador for the Association of Black Tax Professionals, underscoring my commitment to making a positive impact in my community.
